IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:        Jordan’s Principle Director

JOB SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Jordan Principle Director, the Case Manager will provide Comprehensive Community Services in conjunction with its Jordan’s Principle team. The objective of the Case Manager is to provide support and respond to children with complex needs and their families in partnership with other professionals and agencies. The goal is to recognize the deficits with service systems and the need to protect children through early intervention, sharing of information, effective coordination of services and appropriate training. The Case Manager will also Lead/Supervise Jordan’s Principle program employees and work alongside them on a daily basis in planning.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree in Social Work or advanced training and/or experience in Wellness/Counselling Skills/Supervisory experience; and/or a degree in Nursing or Diploma Prepared Nurse with related Community Health experience, advanced training and/or experience in nursing management;
  • Minimum 3 years working experience;
  • Current CPR/FA, valid Manitoba Driver’s License;
  • Knowledge of FRCN traditions and lifestyles;
  • A highly motivated individual who is innovative and has a proven ability to work with a very high degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Excellent time management and facilitation skills;
  • Effective verbal and communications skills;
  • Strong leadership, critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills;
  • Must submit, current Criminal Record Check, Child and Adult Registry Checks;
  • Must adhere to FRCN Policies & Procedures, including the Illegal Drug By-law.
