FRED Corp. Announces Bay River Inn & Suites Expansion

The Fisher River Economic Development Corporation (FRED Corp.) Board of Directors, Fisher River Cree Nation Chief & Council, and FRED Corp. management are thrilled to announce the expansion of the Bay River Inn & Suites!

Due to the growing demand and our current rooms often being sold out, this expansion will add 17 brand-new motel rooms to better serve our guests and community. But that’s not all — the new facility will also feature a pool, waterslide, hot tub, and a spacious 1900 sq ft meeting room.

The pool and meeting space will be available to rent for birthday parties, celebrations, and events. Additionally, the pool area can be utilized for programming dedicated to our school, elders, and other band entities, creating a vibrant hub for connection and recreation.

This expansion represents a significant step forward in supporting tourism, community engagement, and economic growth within Fisher River Cree Nation. We can’t wait to welcome guests and community members to enjoy these fantastic new amenities!
