Educational Assistants (Charles Sinclair & Fisher River High Schools) – Opportunity

Fisher River Board of Education is accepting applications for Educational Assistants

Criteria:

1. Grade 12 or equivalent, Health Care Aide or Education Assistant Certificate
2. Dependable and well organized
3. Experience working with children and youth
4. Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills
5. Willing to work in a team environment
6. Must adhere to the Fisher River Cree Nation Illegal Drug Bylaw and submit to employment drug testing.

Responsibilities:

1. Daily planning with staff.
2. One-on-one and group work with students in the classroom
3. Monitor students’ progress (academically, socially, and behaviourally).
4. Current criminal record and child abuse registry checks.
5. Perform supervision duties as assigned.
