Fisher River Cree Nation Jordan’s Principle Program

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:               Jordan’s Principle Case Manager

Job Summary: Under the direction of the Jordan Principle Case Manager, the File Clerk functions as a member of an interdisciplinary Jordan’s Principle team.  The File Clerk will work with Jordan’s Principle team ensuring client files are accurate and up to date.  The File Clerk will pay strong attention to detail of client files and possess strong organizational and time-management skills.  The File Clerk must have knowledge of office rules, standards and safe work practices when performing duties.

Duties:

  • Organize and archive records and documents;
  • Scanning and uploading documents into storage systems;
  • Entering client information into databases or other storage systems;
  • Must adhere to FRCN Policies & Procedures, including the Illegal Drug By-law.
  • Performs other activities and duties as directed within the position’s mandate and expertise under the direction of the Director and Jordan’s Principle Case Manager;

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, Post Secondary Diploma in related field preferred;
  • Minimum two years’ experience in Administrative Training;
  • First Aide/CPR or willing to upgrade or take training;
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills;
  • Must be sensitive and responsive in all interactions with venerable clients;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs;
  • Ability to work independently, but still in a team setting.
