RE: Update on COVID-19 #14
Public health officials advise one new case of COVID-19 was identified as of 9:30am today, bringing the total number of lab-confirmed positive and probable positive cases in Manitoba to 255.
The data shows:
- 7 individuals are currently hospitalized, which includes 4 individuals in Intensive Care (ICU)
- 99 active cases and 150 individuals who have recovered from COVID-19
- the number of deaths due to COVID-19 remains at 6.
Cadham Provincial Laboratory performed 314 tests on Monday. A total of 20,319 tests have been performed since early February.
Fisher River Cree Nation falls within the Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority (IERHA), data shows IERHA continues to remain at 17 positive cases.
Health reminds everyone to continue to follow the MB Health guidelines, some of which are washing your hands, cover your cough, staying home as much as possible & keeping your distance of 6 feet.
