This is to advise all Fisher River Cree Nation members that due to budget constraints, only emergency repairs will be considered until new fiscal year (2021-22). Due to a delay in the delivery of the Pfizer vaccine to Canada, the Province of Manitoba will be scaling back its immunization campaign. All first and second dose appointments already booked will continue as planned however, No New Appointments will be made. The Brandon super site, which opened on January 18, will decrease its operations until more vaccines are available. We are pleased to announce that COVID-19 Vaccinations have begun at the Community Centre for Elders who are not residents at the Ochekwi-Sipi Personal Care Home. As of yesterday, vaccinations have concluded at the personal care home. A total 33 residents and staff have been vaccinated with the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine; we are pleased to report that no one has had any reactions or side effects following their vaccinations.
