Department of Agriculture and Resource Development is changing our approach for the issuance of Commercial Net Fishing Licenses for 2020-2021 in light of social distancing requirements and the closure of regional and district offices to walk-in traffic. The safety of fishers, their families, the public and government staff is our top priority. For 2020-21, the Department will not require fishers to visit a regional office to pick up their license. On Wednesday April 29, 2020, Premier Pallister announced the multi-phase plan will begin next week, on May 4.
