Gathering Brings Home Elders
Great turn out for today for the Elders Gathering. We welcomed elders from on-reserve and brought home many off-reserve elders by charter, many who never been home in many years. Remembrance Day & Upcoming Services – United Church
There will be a Veterans Day service on November 11 at 10:30am. The service will take place at the Veterans Monument in Fisher River with Stan McKay officiating. Community Celebrates Business Centre Grand Opening
Despite the cold weather and snow flurries, the community gathered as the official Grand Opening of the Fisher River Business Centre took place. The Business Centre houses many businesses such as King Ho Chinese Food, Fisher River Pharmacy, Pine Cone Dairy Bar and Jordan’s Principle programs.
