This is to advise all Fisher River Cree Nation members that the current fiscal year budget for all non-urgent home repairs have been allocated. At this, only emergency repairs will be considered until the fiscal year end of March 31, 2018. On Tuesday February 20, Mohan Denetto, Director General of Economic & Business Opportunities from Indigenous & Northern Affairs Canada along with representatives from the Province of Manitoba met with Chief & Council and management from Fisher River Economic Development Corporation (FRED Corp). Chief & Council along with FRED Corp presented upcoming economic initiatives that will be taking place in the Community.
