Fisher River Congratulates Cochrane Saxberg as they have made the list for Canada’s Best Law Firms for 2021!
Globe and Mail partnered with Statista to determine which law firms in Canada are held in the highest esteem by their colleagues. Canada’s best law firms are identified across 28 different practice areas. The results reflect the 200 firms, among more than 30,000 existing law firms in the country, that received the highest number of recommendations from others in their field.
Cochrane Saxberg not only made the list; we have also been recognized along with just two other Manitoba firms for our contributions in the areas of Aboriginal Law and Indigenous Law.
Established in 2017, Cochrane Saxberg is Manitoba’s largest Indigenous law firm and has grown to one of the largest in Canada.
Members of the firm include the Honourable Murray Sinclair, who joined the firm in August 2020, and the firm’s five partners: Harold Cochrane, Q.C. (Fisher River Cree Nation), Kris Saxberg; Brenda Johnston (Peguis First Nation); Greg Johnson (Fisher River Cree Nation); and Shawn Scarcello.
