Notice from Chief & Council Regarding Education Flood Plan
The Chief and Council have informed the Board of Education that a State of Emergency declaration does not automatically result in school closures. The primary purpose of declaring a State of Emergency is to mobilize resources, access emergency funding from Indigenous Services Canada and the Province of Manitoba, and enforce mandatory evacuations if necessary.
