Fisher River Cree Nation is making the transition to online learning easier by giving students in the community a free laptop or iPad and internet connection device. "It's a great thing… because not every family actually has the money to afford a laptop," said Grade 12 student Koby Wilson. The Chief & Council would like to advise the community that the RCMP have issued fines over the weekend for breach of Health & Safety Orders. The fines issued are like the traffic ticket violations and must be paid within the time stated. Failure to not pay the fine can result in the ticket going to collections and effecting your credit score.
