Fisher River Cree Nation: On February 10, 2026, in the early morning hours, the Fisher River detachment of the Manitoba First Nations Police Service (MFNP) was the target of a drive-by shooting. Unknown individuals approached the detachment on an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and fired numerous shots, striking the building exterior and police vehicles parked on site. Community Advisory: Fisher River Cree Nation The MFNPS detachment in Fisher River Cree Nation was the scene of a targeted shooting overnight. Several shots were fired at our detachment building and a parked police vehicle. This incident is under investigation. There were no injuries.
