It is with great pleasure and pride that we announce the recent graduation of two outstanding siblings from Fisher River Cree Nation. Dr. Reyce Cochrane has completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and is the first dentist from our community. The majority of Members have voted against adopting the Fisher River Election Code; therefore, Fisher River Cree Nation Election rules and regulations will continue to be set forth and managed by Indigenous Services Canada under the Indian Act. Official Statement of Results will be posted in the coming days.
We are pleased to share that as of Wednesday, May 10, 2023 masks and goggles are no longer required in all Manitoba personal care homes (PCHs) therefore the Ochekwi-Sipi Personal Care Home staff, families and visitors will not require to wear masks and/or protective shields as of May 16, 2023.
