Leadership would like to advised that there were two incidents of exposure of positive COVID-19 cases; the first incident, an individual was in attendance at a Funeral that took place on Sunday September 27, 2020 at the Jackhead Day of Pentecost House of Prayer who did not show symptoms and was not on any isolation list. Fisher River Minor Hockey, with consultation with parents and players have decided to take a year of absence for the 2020/2021 season. The year of absence was approved by Interlake Minor Hockey Association. While the decision was a difficult one but with the threat of COVID-19, it ultimately came down to the safety of the community.
